CITTA focuses on underprivileged communities which are considered to be some of the world’s most economically challenged and remote. Our objective is to preserve the culture of the communities we support.
CITTA has developed a holistic and adaptable method called the HEED model (Health, Education, and Economic Development). We connect with these communities, considering the lack of access to proper healthcare and educational opportunities and weak or nonexistent economic development that can lead a community into a never-ending downward spiral. CITTA works to remedy the specific needs of a community, to produce an environment of equanimity and stability that provides opportunities and a sense of initiative and pride in its inhabitants.
CITTA is a New York State registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We focus on methods that help build and support development in some of the most economically challenged, geographically remote, or marginalized communities in the world.
