I wanted to thank you for taking the time to join us at Diana Kellogg’s home to hear about the exciting plans and latest developments for CITTA to build a girl’s school and women’s economic
center in Jaisalmer, India. It was a wonderful evening and I am grateful to Diana and Neil for opening their home to an evening of important and inspiring discussion with all of you.
Now that the holiday season is over and the New Year has begun, we are pressing ahead to bring this educational program and economic center to reality.
I am presently in India and have recently met with the local authorities and the Maharani of Jaisalmer, and am happy to report that everything is moving along as I had hoped.
Diana and Robin are heading to India next week to join me and help get this project underway. Not only are we extremely excited about it, but more importantly the local community is as well.
In order to begin building, we must raise the necessary funds.
I hope that you are interested in becoming a part of this innovative program to support the girls and women in a region that is in such dire need of education and opportunities. You can watch the project grow and/or visit Jaisalmer knowing you have made a significant difference in not only a region, but in the global fabric of female rights and dignity in the world.
